The following are examples of exercises and stretches that Varsity Orthopedics may recommend for patients related to a back injury.

PRONE OPPOSITE ARM/LEG LIFT

Rest trunk over ball. Lay prone on exercise ball. Slowly raise your right arm and your left leg. Alternate with your left arm and your right leg.

PRESS-UP

Press upper body into shown position, keeping hips in contact with the floor. Keep low back and buttocks relaxed. Hold for 3-5 seconds.
